Canada Post Strike: Adjustments and Recommendations for Logistics Services to Canada

According to the latest notice from our Canadian logistics service providers, Canada Post commenced a strike starting on September 26, 2025. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this strike is expected to cause, as it will severely impact logistics and transportation.

Canada Post Strike: Adjustments and Recommendations for Logistics Services to Canada

To minimize the impact of the Canada Post strike, BuckyDrop will make the following adjustments to logistics services bound for Canada:

【Scope of Impact】

I. Postal Routes

Currently, all postal routes use Canada Post services for final-mile delivery. The strike will lead to a severe backlog of parcels. In-transit packages may be undeliverable or returned to other service provider warehouses. Deliveries can only resume after the strike ends, and transit times cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we strongly recommend exercising caution when using postal routes to ship to Canada.

In-Transit Backlog Routes: EUB-HZ / ETK-HB

Suspended Service Route: ETK-HB / EMS Preferential Line-HZ

II. Dedicated Line Routes

Some logistics providers have fully converted final-mile delivery to commercial services (UNI/UPS). However, certain UNI/UPS commercial delivery services may not cover all Canadian postal code areas. Please confirm the support status for your specific Canadian postal code on the parcel creation interface when submitting your order.

Affected Routes:
YunExpress Air Cargo (General) / CA Air Cargo (General) / YunExpress Air Cargo (Batteries) / CA Air Cargo (Special) / 4PX clothing Registered Air Mail / Duty-Free Air Express / 4PX Air Cargo (General) / YunExpress Fast Express Line (General) / 4PX Air Cargo (Batteries) / SF Air Mail (Small) / YunExpress Premium Line(General)

III. Express Routes

Due to the Canada Post strike, express services like UPS/DHL are expected to see a significant increase in parcel volume. This will result in severe backlogs and delivery delays, meaning that the usual timeliness for express routes cannot be guaranteed during this period.

Affected Routes:
Mainland China UPS / UPS(HK)-5500 / HK DHL Preferential Line / HK UPS Cargo (small) / UPS(HK)-5000 / HK DHL Preferential Line (Heavy)

【Estimated Resumption Time】

BuckyDrop has not yet received specific news regarding the end of the Canada Post strike. We will continue to monitor the strike dynamics and notify you immediately once logistics services return to normal.

We apologize once again for the inconvenience the Canada Post strike may cause and sincerely thank you for your understanding and support.
